Before you buy
What we need from you
Keep this simple. Most of it takes one short form after checkout. Required items keep the build moving. Optional items make it better.
01 / Required
Must have to start
Everything below keeps the build moving. Most of it takes one short form.
-
Business basics
Business name, what you do, who you serve, service area, and the one thing you want the site to do (call, enquire, visit).
-
Contact details
Phone, email, address if relevant, opening hours if you have them, and social links you want shown.
-
Content starting point
A few sentences about the business, your main services, and anything you never want said. Rough notes are fine.
02 / Process
What happens next
- 01
Pay the flat fee
Secure checkout via Stripe. Optional CMS is +$100 at the same time if you want self-editing later.
- 02
Fill the brief
A short form. Ten minutes if you already know your services and contact details.
- 03
We build and preview
You get a preview link. Two rounds of reasonable tweaks after launch. Then it goes live on your domain.
03 / Optional
Nice to have
-
Logo and brand colours
If you have a logo file and colours, send them. If not, we can use a clean text mark.
-
Photos of your work
Real photos beat stock. Phones are fine. Before/after, job site, team, or storefront all help.
-
Domain preference
Tell us the domain you already own, or the name you want. We can register or connect it.

05 / Add-ons
Optional extras, plainly priced
Edit your own content later.
+$100 AUD + GSTA CMS - a content management system - is the layer that lets you edit the site yourself once it's live. Change headings, service copy, FAQs, facts and figures, add new text, even swap images - no waiting on a developer. It is not a drag-and-drop visual designer like Framer or Webflow. Those are design systems for rebuilding layouts, and when your goal is leads, the layout should stay put.
- · Simple fields, not a bloated dashboard
- · Change copy after launch without a rebuild
- · Add text or images without touching the design
- · Still own the code and the files
Two rounds of tweaks included.
Once the site is live, two rounds of reasonable copy, presentation, and layout tweaks are included within the existing design. Not a second build. Not unlimited redesigns.
- · Reasonable copy changes
- · Presentation tweaks
- · Layout adjustments inside the existing design
- · Extra pages
- · New functionality or major integrations
- · A different design direction
Australian-specific requirements
A few extra notes if you're an Australian business buying through 500bucksite.com.au - most of these are nice-to-have rather than strict requirements, but they keep things smooth.
One thing worth planning early: your service area pages. For most Australian trades and clinics, local search is where the leads come from, so think about the suburbs and regions you actually serve before you fill in the brief. A site that says "proudly serving Sydney's Inner West" beats one that says "serving customers Australia-wide" every time - Google agrees with the specific version.
On ACL compliance, the practical bits we see trip businesses up are review claims, "fastest" or "cheapest" style superlatives, and pricing that is not actually available at that price. Write your copy plainly and honestly and you are 95% of the way there; we will flag anything obvious when we build, but the responsibility for claims about your own services sits with you.
auDA requires a valid ABN, ACN, or trademark to register a .com.au or .net.au domain. If you don't have one yet, we can guide you through the ASIC registration. .au, .com, and other gTLDs don't require an ABN.
You don't need to be GST-registered to buy from us. The website price is $500 AUD + GST, and the tax invoice shows the GST separately. If your business has turnover under $75k AUD you generally don't need to register.
If you're selling services or making claims about pricing/availability, your site needs to comply with ACL. We'll set up the boilerplate (Terms, Privacy, refund policy templates) but you're responsible for the accuracy of any product/service claims.
Default is our managed edge hosting (served from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide). If you need data hosted in Australia for compliance reasons (legal, medical, financial), we can deploy to Bunny AU, VentraIP, or AWS ap-southeast-2 at cost. Tell us in the brief.
